College & Young Adults Fellowship
College & Young Adults Fellowship @ EBC!!!
* Are you a local college student?
* Are you not a student, but college age (18-25)?
* Are you an away-student that comes back to the area on breaks?
* Would you be interested in connecting in a new community with others your age?
* Is there anyone you know that would be interested in plugging into such a community?
One truth that seems to have made itself even clearer over the last year is that weneed one another. It’s that fellowship and community are so important, and nowadays it can be even harder to find than normal. That’s on top of what is already a challenge at certain points in life, whether because of the transient nature of being an away-from-home student or simply because you find yourself in the “in-betweens” of school, jobs/career, future/family planning, and so on. So hey … let’s do something about it!
Will you jump in on the ground-floor of a new community group at Ebenezer? Let’s get together on Wednesday, January 13th at 6:30pm in the Chapel! We will spend some time hanging out and getting to know each other, talking and praying about the best direction for the future, and so on. Throw some food and maybe an air-hockey or table tennis game in the mix, and we’ll just enjoy our time together.
Come and bring a friend or two (or three). Doesn’t matter if they are members or even regularly attend EBC, they are welcome to join us. What if this was a place of Christian community for young men and women all over Union County and beyond?! If you’re not college age but you have a child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or friend that is … will you make sure they see this?
For the time being, we will of course observe social distancing, wear masks while we’re together, and take every safety precaution we know to take.
I’m looking forward to watching how God is going to work, my friends! Contact me if you have any questions.
